Student Ministries

The Student Ministries at High Street Naz is broken down into two main groups. SR High, grades 9-12 and JR High, grades 7-8.

Mission Outreach

Student Ministries is a place where we believe in mission. Our missions president, who is student lead, will help in bringing us through at least nine mission projects a year. Things we have done in the past have included; The Ronald McDonald House, Painting projects, cleaning up the neighborhood, working with widows in the congregation, and many other projects. Jesus called us to be a missionary people and that is what we are equipping our students to be.

Worship Team

Here we believe in preparing our students for leadership. And one way of doing that is by using our students talents to lead worship on Wednesday nights. We use music from Elevation Worship, Bethel Worship, Vertical Worship, and many other artists. We accept all students with all different talents. Including: Media team, Keys, guitars, drums, vocals, and many other instruments and talents. If you would like to be a part of this team please call the church office.
Wednesday Nights

Wednesday nights is a place that kids in 7th grade through seniors in High School can meet and learn about Jesus Christ. Students can expect to experience outrageous games, fun and humor, and a laid back atmosphere. While connected through interactive worship, and messages. They will have the opportunity to share in small group settings, and to do “life” together with a group that wants to experience Jesus in new ways.

Retreats

We believe in the power of retreats and revival. We have seen multiple students over the years give their hearts to Jesus during camps. So over the course of the year we will attend Fall Retreat at the Northwest Ohio Campgrounds. We will attend Winter Retreat with just our Students. And then will attend summer camps. We believe in every kid going, so regardless of price we will always make sure you student can go. Finances will never be a problem!

Prayer Wall

We believe in teaching our students about prayer. We encourage this multiple times throughout the night, weather it is one on one prayer, alone time, prayer for others, or group prayer, we believe in the power of prayer and want our students to understand this.

One big thing our students use is the prayer wall. A list of names that we pray for weekly. We have seen names crossed off the list as they come to know Christ! We celebrate each time!
